As part of a FDOT highway beautification grant, this project involved providing a landscape design for 20 existing medians along a 1.8 mile stretch of Okeechobee Hwy 441 which is also referred to as the city’s main street. Despite the limitations faced with existing sight lines and the lack of irrigation, the project was completed on-time and under budget and continues to provide Okeechobee with an attractive gateway.
