The City of Port St. Lucie City Council unanimously approved the Cheney Brothers / CBI Food Service Warehouse Distribution Center at last night’s City Council meeting (January 24, 2022). The facility will be a 522,572 square foot building with a first phase of 367,427 square feet. The project is anticipated to cost $65 million dollars initially and will generate 275 jobs with an average salary of $65,000. The project is located in the Legacy Park area of Southern Grove, just north of Becker Road and the Becker I-95 interchange.
